Meet Meredith Silverman!
This class act hails from Bakersfield, California! She's an avid learner, heading towards her Doctorate of Theology. We're pretty sure she's smarter than us, so we spend most of our time sending her memes and gifs so she at least finds us funny.
Q: Hi Meredith! Tell us a little bit about yourself. Where are you from, and what do you do?
Hello! I'm originally from the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, and I now reside in Bakersfield, California. Formerly an office manager, I am now a full-time college student going to school online. My ultimate end game is to attain my Th.D., or Doctorate of Theology, like Thomas Aquinas. I am currently finishing up my first year of college. I even achieved my short term goal of making the Dean's List at 43. If I can do this, ANYONE can!
Yep, definitely smarter than us. Congratu-freaking-lations on the Dean's List achievement!
Q: How did you hear about us?
Y'all followed me on Twitter. 😁
Sweet! I guess our strategy on Twitter is working!
Q: Now, we pride ourselves on giving people positive experiences whenever they speak with us. How would you describe what your experience has been with interacting with us at Three by Six?
Y'all are super nice and friendly, which I just love. Since I'm somewhat of a hermit because of school and chronic illness, Twitter is my social outlet. Like Mary Lennox near the sunny window in "The Secret Garden," when I've had a day full of fun interactions on Twitter in between my classes, I can say (tongue firmly in cheek), "Today, I have been outside."
You're too kind. At the end of the day, our goal is to treat people like people and help "fill their cup" as best we can.
Q: Is there anything else you want to share? Maybe something you're truly passionate about that you want people to check out?
Things I'm truly passionate about...God. Kindness. Peace. Genuine people. Shark conservation. Saving our oceans (don't dump trash, folks, that's SO uncool!). What I would like to share? Hmmm. I wish domestic violence didn't exist, but surviving that made me stronger. I wish bullying didn't exist. I wish that I could bake you all a cake and fill it with puppies and rainbows and...wait, no, that's that young lady from "Mean Girls" who didn't even go to that school! Seriously, it would be groovy if we could all be nice to each other, but as a wise man once told me "as long as there is profit in war, there will never be peace." I'd like to change that somehow; nothing, but NOTHING has ever been solved with violence.
Amen. Couldn't have said it better ourselves.
Q: Do you have any questions you'd like to ask us?
Do you like cheese pizza?
I mean, the only thing better than any kind of pizza is any kind of free pizza, so heck yes!
Thanks for your time, Meredith!
Well, that's just a little slice of awesome from Meredith today! You all should definitely follow her on Twitter. She's quick-witted and sure to make you laugh!
Thank you, Meredith, and best of luck on all your upcoming studies, although we're pretty sure you won't need any luck!
Except maybe a bottle of the finest white wine in the area...
