Handmade Raindrop-Shaped Tagua Pendant from Ecuador
The Tagua Palm Tree nut, one known for its ivory-like qualities, helps keep animal ivory on real animals, where it belongs.
Handmade by artisans in Ecuador, these raindrop-shaped pendants are harvested in a sustainable way and carved individually. The white variant is the natural color of the Tagua nut and will slowly darken over time, similar to true animal ivory. The red variant is dyed using various natural techniques to enhance the nut's natural beauty.
Each pendant comes with an 18" long black cord to keep the focus on the pendant itself, but you can just as easily run your own gold chain through to really accentuate the piece.
